At The Way Physical Therapy, we believe that physical therapy is more than just rehabilitation—it's a proactive approach to movement, performance, and longevity. Our mission is to help active adults and athletes recover from injuries, prevent future setbacks, and optimize their movement so they can keep doing what they love.

We combine hands-on treatment (dry needling, cupping, soft tissue work) with strategic exercise progressions to not only relieve pain but also build long-term strength and resilience. Whether you're overcoming an injury, looking to improve mobility, or aiming to perform at a higher level, we create customized plans to meet your goals—not just get you back to baseline.

Founder, The Way Physical Therapy

Becoming a physical therapist has allowed me to combine my passion for fitness and sports with a dedication to helping active individuals stay strong, healthy, and pain-free. My journey began at Ohio Northern University, where I initially pursued a degree in business while playing soccer. However, I quickly realized that true fulfillment came from studying something I was truly passionate about—human movement and performance. This led me to switch my focus to exercise physiology, earning a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology with a Minor in Nutrition from the University of Cincinnati.

During my undergraduate years, I was introduced to CrossFit, which quickly became a cornerstone of my personal and professional development. I founded the University of Cincinnati’s Club CrossFit team, competing at the national level, and have continued to push my own athletic limits, competing at the Regional/Semifinal level multiple times since 2018 with multiple top 5 and top 10 finishes.

After completing my undergraduate degree, I pursued my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Mount St. Joseph University with the goal of becoming a leading resource for active adults and athletes. I refined my clinical skills during my time at Rehab 2 Perform, an industry-leading outpatient sports rehab facility, where I worked with a wide range of individuals—including CrossFitters, runners, high school athletes, and active adults. My experience there reinforced my belief that everyone—regardless of age or sport—deserves high-quality, performance-driven physical therapy that goes beyond pain relief and focuses on long-term resilience.

I take a hands-on approach to rehab, incorporating trigger point dry needling, instrument-assisted massage, and cupping to reduce pain, followed by a structured, progressive exercise plan to rebuild strength and prevent future injuries. My philosophy is simple: no goal is too big, and with the right plan, anything is possible.

Why I Started The Way Physical Therapy

After years of working with athletes and active individuals, I saw a gap in traditional physical therapy—too often, people were being told to stop doing the activities they love rather than being given a plan to keep moving safely. I founded The Way Physical Therapy in Columbus, Ohio, to provide a modern, athlete-centered approach to rehab that prioritizes education, performance, and long-term health. Whether you’re dealing with an injury, looking to optimize movement, or trying to stay ahead of aches and pains, I’m here to help you stay strong, stay active, and continue doing what you love.
